Ring Sizing Method 2
Measure your finger with a strip of paper or a string (or thread or ribbon); mark the spot where the paper or string meets. Measure that section of paper or string with a ruler in millimeters. This represents the circumference of the ring. Make the paper or string fit snugly, yet comfortably; if possible – get someone to help you get the measurement.

Ring Sizing Tips:
- Wait to measure your finger at the end of the day when it’s the largest size.
- Measure warm fingers because cold temperatures can shrink finger sizes (up to 0.5 a size).
- Wait at least 12 hours after drinking alcohol and/or eating salty foods because they can cause swelling in your fingers.
When choosing sizes of bracelets, necklaces, and even earrings, measuring existing jewelry as a guide is effective.
